Strong Performances at the 2026 Australian ChampionshipsFundamental Athletic Development athletes produced some outstanding performances at the 2026 Australian Open Championships and Australian Under-20 Combined Events Championships in Sydney.
Andy – Open Men’s Pole Vault
Andy achieved a new personal best of 4.95m in the Open Men’s Pole Vault, finishing 12th in Australia.
It was a fantastic performance on the national stage, bringing him within just five centimetres of the 5.00m milestone.
Will – Under-20 Decathlon
Will finished 14th in the Australian Under-20 Decathlon, recording an overall personal best of 5,333 points.
Across the two-day competition, Will achieved an impressive six individual personal bests.
