Outstanding Performances at the 2026 Australian University Games

Fundamental Athletic Development athletes produced several strong performances at the 2026 Australian University Games, competing across pole vault, sprinting, long jump and discus.

Jaslene – Pole Vault and Discus

Jaslene competed in both the Pole Vault and Discus.

She cleared 2.80m in the Pole Vault to finish eighth overall, before recording a throw of 26.42m in the Discus.

It was a strong effort across two very different technical events.


Cheyenne – Pole Vault, Long Jump and Sprints

Cheyenne took on a busy program, competing in four events across the championships.

She cleared 2.60m to finish 12th in the Pole Vault and jumped 4.88m to place 19th in the Long Jump.

Cheyenne also competed in both sprint events, recording 12.75 seconds for the 100m and 26.56 seconds for the 200m.

Results:

  • Pole Vault – 2.60m, 12th

  • Long Jump – 4.88m, 19th

  • 100m – 12.75, 29th

  • 200m – 26.56, 27th


Renon – 100m and 200m

Renon delivered two excellent sprint performances against strong university competition.

He ran a personal best of 10.75 seconds in the 100m, finishing 12th overall.

Renon followed this with a time of 21.97 seconds in the 200m, narrowly missing the final and placing ninth overall.
