All FAD coaches are Athletics Australia accredited and follow national Code of Conduct and Child Safe standards.
Safeguarding
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and transparent environment for all athletes and families. All coaches engaged by Fundamental Athletic Development (FAD) are accredited by Athletics Australia and adhere to the Athletics Australia Code of Conduct, which outlines the expected standards of professional behaviour and provides guidance to safeguard children and young people.
This Code is applied in conjunction with Athletics Australia’s national policies, the Little Athletics National Child Protection Policy, and the policies of Athletics Victoria, our State Member Association, as well as Athletics Australia’s Child Safe Sport Commitment.

Throughout all programs, athletes are expected to:

• Use equipment safely
• Support a positive training environment
Privacy Policy
We collect personal information such as names, contact details, and athlete information for the purpose of providing training services and responding to enquiries.
This information is used only for communication, program administration, and safety purposes. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required by law.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and ensure it is handled in accordance with Australian privacy expectations.
Parents or guardians may request access to or correction of personal information by contacting us directly.
Photo & Media Consent
From time to time, photographs or video may be taken during training for program-related purposes.
Images will only be used in a respectful and appropriate manner.
Parents or guardians may notify us if they do not wish for their child to be included in photography.
Risk Acknowledgement
Participation in athletics training involves physical activity and carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. Parents or guardians should inform coaches of any relevant medical conditions or injuries that may affect participation in training.
By participating in training sessions, parents or guardians acknowledge these general risks and understand that all reasonable care is taken to provide a safe and supervised environment.
Participation is voluntary, and athletes are expected to follow coaching instructions to support safe involvement in all activities.
