A Huge Team Effort
The championships involved a huge effort from both the athletes and the coaching team.
Across a long and demanding week in Brisbane, the coaches worked together to cover 37 event performances, often taking place across different areas of the stadium at overlapping times.
There was also a significant amount of planning and coordination involved in organising the transport of the poles to Brisbane and moving them between training, competition and accommodation venues throughout the week.
Congratulations to every athlete who competed and represented the squad. The national titles, medals, personal bests and top-eight finishes were outstanding, but equally impressive was the way the entire team supported one another throughout the championships.
